Job Purpose / Summary
- Be part of a high-performing, multi-disciplinary digital solutions division within our client's organisation.
- Develop and maintain digital applications supporting policy and operations in Singapore's social service sector.
- Support the organisation's expanding digital platform capabilities through application development and system integration.
- Design, build, and maintain robust, scalable, secure, and user-friendly low-code applications.
- Enable efficient business operations, service delivery, and stakeholder engagement across digital products.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in designing and developing web and mobile applications using the OutSystems platform.
- Collaborate with product teams, business analysts, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Design, develop, and deploy user interfaces, workflows, and system integrations.
- Support application integrations across internal platforms and external systems.
- Maintain application architecture and infrastructure for operational, reporting, and analytical workloads.
- Implement application testing, validation, and optimisation to ensure quality and performance.
- Monitor applications and systems to detect issues and performance bottlenecks.
- Support the maintenance and enhancement of existing OutSystems applications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve application-related issues.
- Create and maintain application development documentation and system configuration records.
Job Requirements
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in OutSystems solution delivery.
- Experience delivering applications for public sector projects is preferred.
- OutSystems certifications are an advantage.
Skills
- Understanding of application architecture and design patterns within OutSystems.
- Proficiency in OutSystems development, including web services integration and API development.
- Knowledge of relational and non-relational databases and query languages.
- Familiarity with AWS cloud services (e.g. S3, Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB).
- Understanding of application security, access controls, and logging.
- Exposure to version control systems (e.g. Git) and CI/CD practices.
