About the Role

Our client is a public-sector organisation in Singapore undergoing active digital transformation, focused on improving operational efficiency and service delivery through technology. They are looking for a motivated

Low-Code Engineer

to design, build, and deploy digital solutions using the Microsoft Power Platform ecosystem. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates early in their technology career to gain meaningful, hands-on experience in application development and process automation within a structured, collaborative ICT environment. You will work alongside experienced professionals and contribute directly to impactful digitisation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and deploy applications, workflow automations, and digital solutions using Microsoft Power Platform, Microsoft 365, SharePoint, and related technologies
Analyse business requirements and identify opportunities for digitisation and process improvement, translating them into effective low-code solutions
Develop and maintain applications, workflows, data integrations, dashboards, and reusable solution components under the guidance of senior team members
Conduct testing, troubleshoot technical issues, implement enhancements, and provide ongoing operational support for deployed solutions
Support the implementation of ICT security, data governance, privacy, accessibility, and application lifecycle management standards across delivered solutions
Collaborate with internal stakeholders, vendors, and technology partners to align on requirements and delivery outcomes
Maintain clear technical, operational, and end-user documentation throughout the solution lifecycle
Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance existing systems and processes

Requirements

Diploma or degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related discipline candidates with equivalent practical experience are welcome to apply
Foundational understanding of application development concepts, including databases, data structures, user interface design, testing, and troubleshooting
Hands-on exposure to at least one low-code or no-code development platform through academic projects, internships, or personal projects experience building applications or workflow automations is advantageous

Familiarity with configuring workflows, business rules, user interfaces, permissions, and basic data integrations within enterprise or cloud platforms
Good communication skills with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a multi-stakeholder environment
Experience with Microsoft technologies such as Azure, Power BI, or Copilot web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) database querying (SQL or NoSQL) REST API integrations source control tools such as Git or Agile and CI/CD practices (is a bonus)
