Low-Code Engineer (Microsoft Power Platform)

About the Role

We are looking for a motivated Low-Code Engineer to contribute to digital transformation initiatives through the design, development, and deployment of impactful business applications and automation solutions.

This role offers the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in application development, workflow automation, and emerging digital technologies while working in a dynamic ICT environment. Key Responsibilities

Application Development & Automation

• Design, develop, deploy, and support applications, workflow automations, and digital solutions using: Microsoft Power Platform, Microsoft 365, SharePoint or related technologies.

Business Analysis & Solutioning

• Analyse business requirements and identify opportunities for digitisation and process improvement.
• Translate requirements into practical low-code solutions that address business needs effectively.

Platform Development & Integration

• Develop and maintain: Applications, Automated workflows, System integrations, Dashboards, Data models, Reusable solution components.
• Work under the guidance of senior team members while building technical expertise.

Testing & Operational Support

• Perform testing and validation of developed solutions.
• Troubleshoot issues, implement enhancements, and provide ongoing support for production applications.

Security & Governance

• Support the implementation of: ICT security controls, Data governance requirements, Privacy standards, Accessibility requirements, Application lifecycle management practices.

Stakeholder Collaboration

• Work closely with business stakeholders, service providers, and technology partners.
• Prepare and maintain technical, operational, and user documentation.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.

Core Skills

• Understanding of: Application development concepts, Databases and data structures, User interface design, Software testing, Troubleshooting methodologies.

Low-Code Development Experience

• Hands-on exposure to at least one low-code or no-code platform through: Academic projects, Internships, Personal projects, Work experience.
• Experience building applications or workflow automations will be advantageous.

Technical Knowledge

• Familiarity with: Workflow configuration, Business rules implementation, User interface configuration, Permission management, Basic data integrations.

Communication & Teamwork

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a multi-stakeholder environment.

Preferred Skills & Experience

• Exposure to digital solution development, automation platforms, business applications, data analytics tools, or enterprise software solutions.
• Experience with Microsoft technologies such as: Microsoft 365, Power Platform, Azure, Copilot, Power BI, SharePoint.
• Knowledge of: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, SQL or NoSQL databases, REST API integrations.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving ability, attention to detail, and documentation skills.
• Familiarity with: Git or source control tools, Agile delivery methodologies, Application Lifecycle Management (ALM), CI/CD concepts.
• Relevant Microsoft certifications, internships, portfolio projects, hackathons, academic projects, or practical development experience demonstrating technical capability.
