Lorry Driver

Job Responsibilities:

• Operate lorries safely and efficiently to transport goods to designated locations.
• Inspect vehicle before and after trips to ensure roadworthiness and compliance with safety standards.
• Load and unload goods, ensuring proper handling to avoid damage.
• Plan and follow efficient routes to meet delivery schedules.
• Maintain accurate delivery records, logs, and reports.
• Ensure compliance with traffic laws and transportation regulations.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, warehouse staff, and customers.
• Report any vehicle issues or incidents to management promptly.
• Keep the lorry clean and presentable.

Job Requirements:

• Valid Class 4 driving license (depending on vehicle type).
• Clean driving record and at least 5 years of experience in lorry driving.
• Familiar with GPS devices and route navigation apps.
• Physically fit and able to lift heavy items.
• Good communication and time management skills.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends or overtime if required.
