Lorry Driver

Job Summary
The Driver is responsible for the safe and timely transportation of goods, materials, equipment and/or employees to designated locations while ensuring proper vehicle care and compliance with Singapore road safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive company vehicles safely and responsibly to assigned destinations.
• Transport goods, materials, equipment or personnel as instructed.
• Load and unload goods safely and ensure items are properly secured during transportation.
• Conduct daily vehicle checks and report any defects or maintenance issues promptly.
• Maintain the vehicle in a clean, safe and roadworthy condition.
• Follow assigned routes, schedules and delivery instructions.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, trips, fuel usage and vehicle maintenance where required.
• Ensure all delivery documents are properly completed and acknowledged.
• Comply with traffic laws, workplace safety requirements and company policies.
• Assist with general logistics duties when required.
• Report accidents, vehicle breakdowns or other incidents to the supervisor immediately.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor or management.

Requirements

• Valid Singapore driving licence appropriate for the vehicle assigned.
• Relevant driving experience is preferred.
• Good knowledge of Singapore roads and traffic regulations.
• Responsible, punctual and safety-conscious.
• Physically fit to assist with loading and unloading when required.
• Able to work independently and follow instructions.
