Drive company lorry to transport workers, goods, materials, and equipment safely and efficiently while maintaining accurate records and complying with traffic and safety regulations.
Responsibilities
- Drive company lorry to transport workers, goods, materials, and equipment according to assigned schedules
- Load and unload goods safely, verifying quantities against delivery orders to ensure accuracy
- Plan and follow efficient routes to ensure timely deliveries and collections
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer acknowledgements for completed deliveries
- Conduct daily vehicle checks and keep the lorry clean and roadworthy to ensure safety and reliability
- Report vehicle defects, accidents, or delivery issues promptly to supervisors for timely resolution
- Comply with traffic regulations and company safety procedures at all times
- Assist with general warehouse or operational duties as needed to support team operations
- Perform other duties assigned by the supervisor to contribute to smooth workflow
Required competencies and certifications
- Possess a valid Singapore Class 3 or Class 4 driving licence
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Relevant lorry-driving experience
- Familiarity with Singapore roads and traffic regulations
- Good driving record and safety awareness
- Physical ability to handle loading and unloading duties
- Responsible, punctual, and able to work independently
- Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and public holidays when required
