Job Summary
Deliver loads and materials safely and efficiently to construction sites while adhering to site safety rules and adapting to flexible deployment requirements.
Responsibilities
- Operate heavy vehicles, including 24-footer trucks and above, to transport materials to construction sites on schedule
- Follow safety rules and instructions strictly at plants and construction sites to maintain a safe working environment
- Adapt to flexible deployment schedules to meet operational demands, including working long hours, weekends, and public holidays as needed
- Communicate effectively in simple English to understand and follow instructions at work
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and accurate delivery of loads
Required competencies and certifications
- Hold a valid Class 4 driving licence or higher
- Possess a valid WSQ-Operate Lorry Crane Certificate
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Have at least 1 year of relevant driving experience with heavy vehicles, including 24-footer trucks and above
- Demonstrate strong work ethic and reliability in meeting work commitments
- Exhibit patience and teamwork skills to contribute positively to the work environment
- Willingness to commit to long working hours, including weekends and public holidays
