Job Summary
The Alternative Story Learning Centre is seeking team members to support daily logistics operations. You will prepare and arrange materials for delivery, track inventory, coordinate with suppliers and couriers, assist with documentation, and provide ad-hoc logistics support to ensure smooth operations.
Responsibilities
- Pack and prepare materials accurately for delivery or internal distribution to meet schedule requirements
- Coordinate delivery schedules with suppliers, couriers, and internal teams to ensure timely stock movement
- Track inventory movement and maintain accurate records using basic Excel for data entry and monitoring
- Assist with logistics documentation and generate simple reports to support operational transparency
- Perform physical tasks such as packing and lifting cartons safely to support warehouse and logistics activities
- Adapt quickly to changing priorities during peak periods while maintaining teamwork and communication
- Identify and resolve operational issues to improve logistics efficiency and workflow
- Work independently with organization and responsibility to complete assigned tasks effectively
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Experience in logistics, warehouse, or operations support to contribute practical knowledge
- Basic Excel skills for tracking and simple data entry to support inventory management
Requirements
- Singaporeans or PRs only
- 1-year minimum commitment period
- Working hours: Tuesday to Friday, 9 am to 4 pm
- Minimum N or O-Level or equivalent
- Prior experience in logistics, warehouse, or operations support is an advantage
- Basic Excel skills (tracking, simple data entry)
- Willing to be trained
- Able to handle physical tasks such as packing and lifting cartons
- Organised, responsible, and able to work independently
- Problem-solver who can think of solutions
- Team player with good communication skills
