We are looking for a Account Assistant who will be responsible for handling day-to-day accounting functions, including bookkeeping, general ledger entries, accounts payable/receivable, and invoice management. The role supports the Finance Manager in preparing financial reports, monitoring payments, and ensuring compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain day-to-day invoicing, reconciling bank statements.
- Handle accounts receivable, including invoice preparation.
- Assist in monthly closing activities.
- Support the Finance Manager in preparing financial statements and reports.
- Ensure all accounting records are accurate, complete, and compliant with company policies.
- Follow instructions and guidelines to ensure smooth daily financial operations.
Job Requirements
- Diploma/Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum 1 year of relevant working experience (fresh graduates with strong interest in accounting may be considered).
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., Xero, or equivalent).
- Strong knowledge of basic accounting principles and bookkeeping.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to meet deadlines.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work with the team.
- High level of integrity and professionalism in handling confidential information.
