Logistics Supervisor/North Region/Bonus/Leadership

Job Summary

The Logistics Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily warehouse and logistics operations to ensure efficient receiving, storage, and distribution of goods. This role involves supervising warehouse staff, maintaining inventory accuracy, and ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day warehouse operations, including receiving, picking, packing, and dispatch.

• Lead and coordinate a team of logistics assistants, forklift operators, and storekeepers.

• Plan manpower allocation and prepare duty rosters.

• Ensure inventory accuracy through regular stock checks and cycle counts.

• Monitor inbound and outbound shipments to ensure timely delivery.

• Enforce workplace safety procedures and maintain housekeeping standards.

• Handle operational issues and resolve discrepancies in stock or delivery.

• Prepare operational reports (stock movement, manpower, productivity).

• Coordinate with internal departments and external vendors on delivery schedules.

• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.

Requirements

• Diploma or equivalent qualification in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field.

• Minimum 3 years of experience in warehouse/logistics operations.

• Prior supervisory experience preferred.

• Forklift license (if required by company operations).

• Familiar with WMS and basic Microsoft Office.

• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.

• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
