Logistics & Shipping Executive

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure vessel operations comply with Charter Party (C/P) terms.
• Manage voyage port turn-around efficiently to minimize voyage expenses and optimize scheduling.
• Monitor bunker consumption, timely, and economical stemming locations.
• Issue fixture, freight, and charter-hire notes accurately.
• Prepare post-voyage lay time and demurrage calculations and monitor demurrage settlements to ensure accurate billing.
• Attend and mitigate demurrage post-shipment disputes and calculations.
• Communicate voyage orders promptly to vessel owners, charterers, and agents before voyage commencement to ensure alignment.
• Perform pre- and post-voyage analysis to ascertain profitability and conduct variance analysis for operational improvements.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Maritime or Nautical related studies
• Experience working in ship-owning or brokering offices will be an advantage.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications.
