Job Summary
We are seeking a hands-on Logistics Operations Specialist to plan and coordinate daily delivery operations, actively manage on-ground activities, and ensure timely, smooth execution of deliveries.
Responsibilities
- Plan and arrange daily delivery jobs and optimize routes to maximize efficiency
- Deploy and coordinate drivers to ensure effective daily delivery operations
- Manage and support delivery operations on the ground to maintain smooth execution
- Ensure all deliveries are completed on time and according to planned schedules
- Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues in real-time to minimize disruptions
- Communicate clearly and promptly with drivers, subcontractors, and clients to coordinate activities
- Monitor daily delivery performance and enforce service standards to meet company expectations
Required competencies and certifications
- Possess a valid driving license to operate delivery vehicles
- Minimum Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or related field
- At least 1-2 years of experience in delivery operations or logistics
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Ability to work independently and take responsibility for operational outcomes
- Strong coordination and problem-solving skills applied in fast-paced environments
- Willingness to be hands-on and present on the ground during operations
- Flexibility to work on weekends and public holidays with staggered off days arranged
