Overview
The Logistics Operations Lead ensures the smooth execution of daily transport and logistics activities. This role drives efficiency, compliance, and service excellence across fleets, drivers, and cargo movements, while acting as the bridge between clients, ground staff, and management.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, monitor, and coordinate daily transport schedules, driver assignments, and route optimization.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, DG (Dangerous Goods) handling protocols, and industry standards.
- Liaise with customers, vendors, and port authorities (e.g., PSA, Jurong Island) to ensure timely deliveries.
- Monitor vehicle performance, fuel usage, and maintenance schedules.
- Investigate delays, breakdowns, or operational issues and implement corrective measures.
- Lead, train, and mentor operations staff and drivers, ensuring adherence to company SOPs.
- Prepare operational reports and recommend process improvements.

- Strong background in logistics/haulage operations.
- Problem-solver with ability to make quick decisions under pressure.
- Knowledge of Singapore/Malaysia cross-border and port processes a plus.
- Leadership ability to manage teams and drivers effectively.
