We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Management Trainee to join our Air & Ocean Freight Operations team. This role offers hands-on exposure to the full spectrum of freight forwarding operations, providing structured learning and career development opportunities within the logistics industry.
As a Management Trainee, you will undergo practical training in import and export operations, shipment coordination, and customer service management, with the goal of developing into a future operations leader within the organization.
Job Responsibilities
- Gain hands-on experience in end-to-end air and sea freight operations
- Handle drop, import and export shipment processing and coordination
- Communicate and coordinate with customers, overseas agents, carriers/airlines, NVOCCs, and co-loaders
- Arrange shipment bookings, customs clearance, and delivery schedules
- Monitor shipment status and ensure timely updates to customers
- Liaise with service providers for transportation and local handling services
- Process import/export permits and customs documentation
- Manage shipments through EDI systems
- Prepare shipment documentation, operational reports, and invoices
- Support customers adhoc request for inspection of goods etc.,
- Support problem resolution, service recovery, and insurance claims handling
- Supervise and support the Customer Service Operations team
Job Requirements
- Diploma holder
- Basic experience and knowledge in Logistics / Freight Forwarding
- Mandarin speaking to liaise with China counterpart
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Fast learner
- Work location at Ubi, Oxley Bizhub
- Salary $3000 - $4000
