Job Description

Brief Summary

Join a dynamic team as a Logistics Operation Executive/Senior Assistant Executive, where you will enhance our warehouse operations while fostering a collaborative environment. Amidst ongoing improvements, you will play a critical role in ensuring efficiency and safety in daily logistics activities.

Responsibilities

  1. Manage daily warehouse operations, including overseeing the receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping processes to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
  2. Control and maintain inventory through regular checks, cycle counts, and audits, resolving discrepancies as they arise.
  3. Lead and develop staff by assigning tasks, monitoring performance, providing coaching and training, and promoting teamwork.
  4. Coordinate logistics activities by liaising with carriers, freight forwarders, suppliers, and other internal departments to arrange shipments and address operational issues.
  5. Ensure safety and compliance by enforcing Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) standards, conducting inspections, and adhering to environmental regulations.
  6. Report on inventory management using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), generating key metrics on stock status and shipment performance.
  7. Oversee maintenance schedules for warehouse infrastructure and equipment, implementing security procedures to protect assets.
  8. Identify and implement process enhancements, optimizing warehouse workflows and supporting digital transformation initiatives.

Requirements

  1. Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related discipline.
  2. Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in logistics or warehouse operations, with supervisory experience being advantageous.
  3. Strong knowledge of warehouse processes, including inventory control and order fulfillment.
  4. Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and logistics-related software.
  5. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills complemented by strong problem-solving abilities.
  6. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) knowledge of DX/BPR/RPA is a plus.
