Report to: Senior Executive
Functional Relationships with: Warehouse Supervisors, Supply Chain Supervisors / Managers, Customer Service Representatives, IT Personnel Carriers, suppliers, warehouses, custom brokers, drayage providers and others involved in the shipping and delivery of merchandise.

Successful candidate will: The Assistant Executive (Logistics Operation / Warehouse Supervisor) is responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations to ensure efficient inventory management, timely order fulfilment, and smooth logistics activities. The role requires strong leadership, coordination, and operational planning skills to maintain warehouse productivity, safety compliance, and cost-effective logistics operations.
The successful candidate will supervise warehouse personnel, optimise workflows, maintain accurate inventory records, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to support supply chain efficiency and continuous improvement.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
. Manage Daily Warehouse Operations - Supervise receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping of goods to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and efficiency.
. Control and Maintain Inventory - Keep accurate stock records through regular checks, cycle counts, and audits investigate and resolve discrepancies promptly.
. Lead and Develop Staff - Assign tasks, monitor performance, provide coaching and training, conduct evaluations, and foster teamwork in a positive work environment.
. Improve Processes - Identify and implement operational enhancements, optimise warehouse layout and workflows, and support automation/digital transformation initiatives (DX/BPR/RPA).
. Ensure Safety and Compliance - Enforce Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) standards, conduct safety inspections, and ensure compliance with Fire Safety and Environmental regulations.
. Coordinate Logistics Activities - Liaise with carriers, freight forwarders, suppliers, and internal departments to arrange shipments, monitor schedules, and resolve operational issues.
. Report and Manage Systems - Use Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) to manage inventory generate reports on stock status, shipment performance, and productivity metrics.
. Maintain Facilities and Equipment - Oversee maintenance schedules for warehouse infrastructure and equipment implement security procedures to safeguard assets and reduce risks.
Ability / Competency Required:
. Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related discipline.
. Minimum 2 years relevant experience in logistics or warehouse operations (supervisory experience is an advantage).
.Strong knowledge of warehouse processes, including inventory control, order fulfilment, and shipping/receiving procedures.
. Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and logistics software.
. Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with excellent problem-solving abilities.
. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) knowledge in DX/BPR/RPA is advantageous.
