Job Summary:
The Logistics Officer is responsible for coordinating, monitoring, and managing the movement and storage of goods, materials, and equipment to ensure smooth operations. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, coordinate, and oversee daily logistics operations, including deliveries, distribution, and inventory management.
- Liaise with suppliers, transporters, and internal departments to ensure timely and accurate dispatch of materials.
- Maintain and update logistics records, delivery schedules, and inventory databases.
- Monitor stock levels and forecast supply needs to prevent shortages or excesses.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and relevant statutory requirements.
- Support procurement and warehouse teams in optimizing logistics processes and cost efficiency.
Requirements:
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in logistics or operations coordination.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and inventory management systems.
- Strong problem-solving, time management, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
