Your Job
As a Logistics Officer, you will play a key role in managing endtoend freight operations for Molex Singapore. This role is responsible for shipment coordination, freight cost control, invoice management, and continuous improvement initiatives to ensure efficient, compliant, and costeffective logistics operations.
Our Team
You will be part of the Supply Chain Warehouse team, working closely with internal stakeholders such as planners, customer service, quality, finance, and global logistics teams, as well as external partners including freight forwarders, suppliers, and 3PL providers.
What You Will Do
- Manage endtoend shipment execution, ensuring accurate documentation and realtime system updates
- Coordinate with plants, logistics partners, and vendors to ensure ontime delivery, including urgent and adhoc shipments
- Optimize freight costs by evaluating shipping modes and managing premium freight exceptions
- Review and audit freight invoices and monthly SOAs, resolving discrepancies to ensure timely payment
- Maintain digital freight documentation in compliance systems (DMS, CTSI)
- Raise purchase orders for logistics services and shipping supplies
- Manage scrap sales and claims, including damaged cargo and quarterly metal scrap bidding
- Monitor shipping supplies inventory and negotiate competitive pricing
- Support internal and external audits and prepare monthly logistics performance reports
- Lead or participate in GLSS / costsaving projects to improve productivity and quality
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- Diploma or above, or equivalent experience in logistics or shipping management
- Experience in freight coordination, shipping operations, or logistics management
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Able to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure
What Will Put You Ahead
- Knowledge of SAP or ERP systems
- Experience in logistics or shipping within the electronics or manufacturing industry
- Strong analytical, problemsolving, and negotiation skills
- Experience supporting audits and continuous improvement initiatives
