About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and well-organized Logistics Manager to manage and coordinate logistics operations for our construction projects in Singapore. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, controlling, and optimizing the movement of construction materials, equipment, and manpower to project sites, ensuring timely delivery and cost efficiency.
Responsibilities :
- Plan, manage, and oversee logistics operations for construction projects, including materialtransportation, storage, and site delivery.
- Coordinate daily logistics activities to support project schedules and site requirements.
- Manage procurement-related logistics, including inbound and outbound deliveries ofconstruction materials and equipment.
- Monitor site material movement, inventory levels, and storage to minimize delays andwastage.
- Liaise with suppliers, transporters,subcontractors, and project teams to ensure smooth site operations.
- Develop and implement logistics strategies to improve efficiency and reduce transportation andhandling costs.
- Track logistics performance, delivery schedules, and costs, and prepare regular reports.
- Ensure compliance with workplace safety regulations, LTA/traffic rules, and company policies.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance logistics workflows and operational efficiency.
- Supervise, train,and manage the logistics team, drivers, and coordinators.
Requirements :
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management,Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or related fields.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in logistics management within the construction orbuilding materials industry.
- Strong knowledge of construction sitelogistics, material handling, and transportation planning.
- Excellent coordination, planning, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and leadership abilities.
- Valid Class 3 Driving License is mandatory.
