Job Title: Logistics manager
Reporting to: Assistant General Manager (Logistics)
The Role: Lead and Manage the daily activities of the CSR, warehouse and delivery trucks in an orderly and timely manner to ensure health and safety of staff, stock security and achieve KPIs while adhering to given cost budget and Company Policies. Coordinating with principle suppliers and 3PL vendors forms an important part of the job responsibilities.
Job Requirements:
. Degree/ Diploma in Logistics or Supply Chain Management Minimum of 5 years working in a warehouse environment FMCG warehouse experience is a must Experience in implementation and operation of automated stock picking system will be an advantage. Possess integrity, meticulous and self-driven with a passion for continuous improvement Flexible but focused
. Ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment and to work under pressure willing to Hands-on
. Able to multi-task and meet tight deadlines Possess leadership qualities to manage and lead a warehouse team of 35 to 50 headcounts which include part timer/sub-contractor's resource. Proficient in MS Office and Warehouse Management System Sound knowledge in logistics management and best practices Data savvy and digitally inclined Familiar with omni-channel retail business practices.

RESPONSIBILITIES DESCRIPTION & MEASURES:
Operations Oversees the orderly and timely execution of all warehouse activities Supervise all warehouse activities such as goods receiving, returns management, picking, storage, dispatch to stores and stock control. Work closely with office and stores to ensure all stock deliveries are done timely to support both online and offline (O+O) promotions. Establish and implement KPIs and conduct regular reviews to ensure that it stays relevant and effective.
Set up SOPs and other operation guidelines to drive greater efficiency and improvements. Ensure health, safety, security, quality control and environmental and sustainability policies are adhered to ensure security of inventory and minimize losses. Oversee proper maintenance of all DC equipment and system
Inventory Management Manage cycle count and stock count activities, ensure stock and post pick accuracy.
Budget Effective planning of manpower to ensure the orderly and timely execution of operational activities, ensure all associated cost items are managed within approved budget
Leadership Provide effective leadership to lead the team members and to motivate them to achieve operational effectiveness and efficiency. Identify trainings for warehouse personnel to motivate and to develop staff's potential. Liaise with other departments (e.g., IT, HR, Trading & Finance) to obtain timely information and to effectively communicate to warehouse staff.
Ensure staff adhered strictly to operational procedures and revise where necessary on a regular basis of all the warehouse procedures. Monitor staff's discipline and responsible for their annual work performance review Responsible for reporting KPIs to relevant internal parties
Regular information exchanges with Suppliers (MNC) on daily orders and stocks received to effectively manage any discrepancy.
Responsible for handling grievance in the warehouse.
Any other responsibilities assigned by management. These may include project management on new system implementation and negotiation of contracts for logistic services.
