Position Overview

The Logistics & Inventory Executive is responsible for supporting end-to-end inventory control and logistics operations. The role ensures accurate stock management, efficient warehouse processes, and timely distribution of goods, maintaining inventory accuracy within the Warehouse Management System (WMS), coordinating shipment planning and documentation, managing inbound inspections, and liaising with logistics partners for both local and international deliveries. This role also contributes to cost optimisation and ensures compliance with relevant customs and trade regulations.

Responsibilities:

Inventory Management

  • Stock Control: Monitor stock levels to prevent overstocking (which ties up cash) or stockouts (which loses sales).

  • Cycle Counting: Lead regular physical counts and reconcile them against the Warehouse Management System (WMS).

  • Quality Control: Inspect incoming shipments for damage or discrepancies in quantity and quality.

  • BOM Coordination: Prepare and issue the Bill of Materials to ensure production teams have what they need when they need it.

Logistics & Distribution

  • Shipment Planning: Coordinate daily delivery schedules and liaise with freight forwarders or couriers for local and international shipping.

  • Documentation: Prepare critical paperwork, including Delivery Orders (DO), Packing Lists, Invoices, and Bills of Lading (BoL).

  • Cost Optimization: Source and negotiate rates with transporters to ensure the most cost-effective shipping routes.

  • Compliance: Ensure all shipments complywith local customs regulations and international trade laws.

Requirements:

  • Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field

  • 1-3 years of experience in logistics, warehouse operations, or inventory management (preferred)

  • Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) is an advantage

  • Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy in documentation and data entry

  • Good organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities

  • Strong communication skills to liaise with internal teams and external vendors

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and basic reporting tools

  • Experience in automotive, EV, or manufacturing industry is an advantage.
