Job Summary
Manage and optimize logistics operations including issuance of spare parts, inventory control, and delivery scheduling to ensure efficient service delivery and accurate billing.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate issuance of spare parts and consumables to meet operational demands
- Plan, route, and schedule trucking operations to maximize efficiency and uphold service standards
- Monitor job progress, generate reports, and resolve disputes between transporters and clients to maintain smooth logistics flow
- Receive and process incoming inbound shipments accurately
- Generate delivery orders for next-day deliveries to ensure timely dispatch
- Conduct monthly, semester, and annual stock checks to maintain inventory accuracy
- Analyze monthly inventory data to maintain optimal stock levels and reduce shortages or excess
- Prepare monthly reports on inventory status, deliveries, and logistics performance to inform management decisions
- Review completed jobs for accurate billing and provide finance with all necessary charge details to ensure correct invoicing
- Perform additional duties as assigned by superiors to support operational needs
Required competencies and certifications
- Proficiency in MS Office applications to manage documentation and reporting
- Strong organizational skills to coordinate multiple logistics tasks efficiently
- Analytical skills to perform inventory analysis and resolve operational issues
- Effective communication skills to liaise with transporters, clients, and internal teams
- Problem-solving skills to address disputes and operational challenges
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- GCE O Level, Diploma, or equivalent qualification
- Minimum 1 year of relevant working experience in logistics or related field
