Logistics Executive

Job Description

• Handle documentation & export LC negotiations and/or LC applications.
• Prepare shipping documentation.
• Handle and process LC, Certificate of Origin & FORM D
• To assist in processing and checking of shipping documentation
• Liaise with shipping lines and freight forwarders for freight negotiations
• Liaise with freight forwarder/customer on delivery & shipment.
• Coordinate closely with customers and suppliers to ensure smooth operations.
• Any other related duties as and when required

Requirements

• Experience: 1-2 years in trading company / shipping / freight forwarding handling such requirements.
• Min Education: Diploma
• Well versed with Import & Export Shipping Procedures, LC, Incoterms & Documentation
• Be able to communicate in English and Mandarin
• Self-motivated, well organized & meticulous, positive working attitude, willing to learn
• Able to work in a team
• Possess excellent analytical, problem solving and organisational skills
• Able to create work order and ensure timely execution
• Ability to identify problems and resolve in a timely manner
• Possess a sense of urgency and ability to prioritize tasks appropriately
• Able to work independently with minimum supervision
• Good interpersonal skills
