About the Role:
Our client, a leading manufacturing company in Singapore, is seeking a talented and experienced Logistics Coordinator to manage and oversee procurement and logistics operations. The ideal candidate will have strong industry experience, be detail-oriented, and demonstrate a proactive approach to supply chain management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all existing procurement activities, including sourcing, purchasing, and vendor management .
- Coordinate and oversee both inbound and outbound logistics processes .
- Supervise warehouse management to ensure efficient storage and distribution of materials .
- Prepare Request for Information (RFI) and Request for Quotation (RFQ) documents, and conduct thorough evaluation of vendor quotations .
- Negotiate with suppliers and vendors to optimize pricing and contract terms .
- Perform regular price comparisons and supplier benchmarking to ensure cost competitiveness .
- Conduct supplier and vendor evaluations ensure all performance KPIs are met and documented .
- Collaborate internally to support inventory management and timely deliveries .
Requirements:
- 7-10 years of logistics or procurement experience, ideally within manufacturing or chemical industries .
- Strong background in vendor evaluation, procurement activities, and warehouse operations .
- Proven ability to independently prepare RFI/RFQ documents and coordinate quotations .
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and coordination skills .
- Results-driven mindset with a focus on meeting performance KPIs .
Compensation & Benefits:
