Job Summary
Plan, coordinate, and oversee daily courier and delivery operations to ensure timely, cost-effective, and high-quality parcel delivery services.
Responsibilities
- Develop and optimize delivery routes and schedules to increase operational efficiency and reduce costs
- Manage and supervise delivery personnel to ensure compliance with service standards and achievement of performance targets
- Liaise with delivery clients to fulfill and exceed service level agreements
- Monitor delivery KPIs such as on-time delivery rates, parcel volumes, and customer feedback, and prepare regular performance reports
- Implement operational improvements and technology solutions to enhance workflow and service quality
- Manage fleet maintenance schedules and ensure drivers comply with licensing and safety regulations
- Conduct manpower planning, recruitment, and training to maintain a skilled and effective delivery team
- Resolve operational issues promptly and escalate strategic concerns to senior management for timely resolution
Required competencies and certifications
- Perform effectively under pressure by multitasking and making timely decisions in a fast-paced environment
- Lead and motivate delivery teams through strong leadership and people management skills
- Use logistics software and route planning tools proficiently to optimize delivery operations
- Communicate clearly and coordinate efforts with clients and internal teams
- Possess a valid class 3 or 4 driving license
- Able to work during festive seasons such as Chinese New Year and Christmas
