Logistics Executive

Job Summary

The Logistics Executive is responsible for coordinating and supporting the Company's logistics and delivery operations, ensuring the timely and safe movement of food products between the Company, warehouse and customers. The role also supports inventory control, delivery documentation, food safety requirements and day-to-day logistics operations.

Job Responsibilities

Coordinate and support daily delivery and logistics operations to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
Deliver food products to customers safely and in accordance with delivery schedules and Company procedures, where required.
Load, unload, arrange and stack goods safely and efficiently on vehicles, trolleys and designated storage areas.
Ensure proper handling, storage and transportation of food products, including cold-chain requirements where applicable.
Coordinate with Warehouse, Production, Sales and other relevant departments on delivery schedules, order fulfilment and logistics requirements.
Pick, check and prepare goods for delivery, including during peak periods when required.
Check and verify goods against Purchase Orders (PO), Delivery Orders (DO) and other relevant documents.
Verify quantities, product descriptions, packaging condition and delivery requirements before dispatch.
Prepare and maintain accurate delivery records, stock movement records, delivery documentation and logistics reports.
Monitor delivery status and promptly report delays, discrepancies, damages, shortages or other operational issues.
Assist with inventory and stock control activities, including stock counts and reconciliation when required.
Ensure company vehicles, equipment and logistics areas are kept clean, orderly and in good working condition.
Maintain basic records relating to vehicle usage, maintenance and delivery activities.
Comply with applicable food safety, workplace safety, traffic regulations and Company SOPs.
Escalate any food safety, product quality, vehicle or operational concerns promptly to the relevant supervisor.
Support continuous improvement of logistics processes, delivery efficiency and operational workflow.
Perform other logistics, warehouse and operational duties as assigned by the Company.

Requirements

Relevant experience in logistics, delivery, warehouse operations, food distribution, food manufacturing, FMCG or a related industry is preferred.
Valid Class 4 driving licence and experience operating commercial vehicles.
Good knowledge of Singapore road networks and delivery routes.
Able to perform physical and manual handling duties, including loading, unloading, reaching and stacking goods safely.
Able to handle food products in accordance with applicable food hygiene, safety and cold-chain requirements.
Good organisational and coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple delivery and operational requirements.
Able to understand and follow work instructions, safety procedures, SOPs and basic documentation in English.
Basic computer skills for delivery records, inventory records, reports and other logistics documentation.
Good attention to detail when checking quantities, product information and delivery documents.
Responsible, safety-conscious and customer-oriented.
Positive work attitude and able to work independently as well as collaboratively with the Warehouse and other departments.
Willing to support operational requirements, including peak-period activities and reasonable additional working hours when required.
