Job Scope:
- Conducts assessments for residents during admission and performs periodic evaluations for in-house residents.
- Set appropriate treatment goals and carry out OT intervention for inhouse residents.
- Guides therapy assistants and program staff to deliver safe, high-quality care in line with established standards, while overseeing, evaluating, and providing feedback to team members.
- Advocates for evidence-based practices in therapy services.
- Maintains and updates written policies, procedures, and workflows to support occupational therapy services.
- Monitors and ensures therapy services align with established policies, guidelines, and procedures.
- Supports the execution of residents discharge plans to facilitate a seamless transition to community living.
- Provides training to caregivers to prepare them for residents return to the community.
- Tracks quality performance metrics for therapy services and develops plans for ongoing improvement.
- Maintains accurate records of all services provided and submits weekly case reports to the Incharge.
- Guide and supports the professional growth of therapy aides through skill-building and competency enhancement opportunities.
Job Requirements:
- Min. Degree in Occupational therapy
- Keen interest in Paeds (Esp with Autism, Neuromuscular Disorders)
- Min. 2 years relevant experience
- Valid AHPC
