We are looking for a meticulous, patient-oriented Clinic Assistant to join our team. You will be the first point of contact for our patients, providing essential administrative and clinical support.
Key Responsibilities
- Front-of-House & Registration: Greet patients, manage appointment bookings, and handle new patient registration and queue management.
- Financial Processing: Collect payments, issue invoices/receipts, and perform daily closing of accounts. Familiarity with digital payment platforms is a plus.
- Insurance Coordination: Assist patients with the preparation and submission of medical insurance claims and direct billing procedures.
- Data & Report Management: Maintain accurate electronic medical records (EMR). Efficiently manage, file, and track patient lab results and medical reports to ensure timely follow-ups.
- Pharmacy Support: Accurately pack and dispense medications according to doctor's prescriptions. Provide clear instructions to patients regarding dosage and side effects.
- Patient Communication: Explaining medical procedures, prep requirements, or medication instructions clearly.
Work Schedule:
- Mon-Sat 3 types of shifts:
- 1. AM : 755am-520pm
- 2. PM : 1205pm-930pm
- 3. MS : 11-830pm or 10-730pm
- Sunday: 830am-6pm
- To work at least 1 weekend per week, subjected to operational needs.
Requirements:
- Language Proficiency: Excellent command of both English and Mandarin is preferred.
- Experience: Prior experience in a clinic or healthcare setting is highly preferred.
- Tech-Savvy: Proficient in basic computer skills and comfortable learning Clinic Management Systems (CMS).
- Core Competencies:
- Strong attention to detail, especially regarding medication safety and data entry.
- Empathetic communication style with a high level of patience for diverse patient needs.
- Ability to multitask and remain calm in a fast-paced environment.
- Availability: Flexible to work clinic hours, including weekends or evenings if required.
