A leading regional bank is seeking an experienced
Loan Syndication Specialist to join its Corporate & Investment Banking platform in Singapore. The role will focus on the
origination, structuring, underwriting, and syndication of corporate loan transactions across the region, working closely with coverage, credit, and product teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end execution of syndicated loan transactions, from origination and structuring through underwriting, syndication and financial close.
- Develop syndication strategies and manage bookrunning processes, including investor outreach, roadshows, and distribution.
- Prepare pitch materials, term sheets, mandate letters, and syndication documentation, coordinating internal approvals and due diligence.
- Build and maintain a regional distribution network of banks and institutional investors active in syndicated lending.
- Collaborate with internal teams across coverage, risk, and legal to ensure efficient deal execution and compliance.
Requirements
- Around 10+ years of experience in corporate credit, leveraged finance, or loan syndication within an investment or corporate bank.
- Proven sell-side syndication experience with strong knowledge of syndicated loan market practices and documentation.
- Familiarity with structured lending, leveraged finance, or special situations financing is advantageous.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to manage complex transactions and coordinate cross-border teams.
- Existing network within the regional loan syndication market preferred.
