Role Description The Live TikTok Host role is a part-time, hybrid position based in Singapore, with a mix of on-site activities at SimplyIslam centres and some work-from-home flexibility. The host will conduct engaging live TikTok sessions, introduce and explain products, respond to viewer questions, and moderate live chat interactions in a professional and respectful manner. Day-to-day tasks include planning live content, coordinating with the marketing and education teams on topics and promotions, and showcasing products during livestreams. The role also involves gathering audience feedback, supporting basic online inquiries, and helping to drive interest, registrations, and positive brand awareness through consistent on-screen presence. The host is expected to adhere to SimplyIslam's values and guidelines, maintain a positive and inclusive tone, and represent the organization appropriately in all live broadcasts.

Qualifications

• Strong Communication skills, including clear spoken English and Bahasa Melayu, and confident on-camera presence.
• Customer Service skills to interact respectfully with diverse audiences and handle inquiries during livestreams.
• Sales skills to promote products effectively during live sessions and encourage sign-ups or engagement.
• Familiarity with TikTok Live features and basic social media content practices; ability to adapt to platform trends while maintaining organizational values.
• Interest in Islamic education and alignment with SimplyIslam's mission; prior exposure to educational or community-based organisations is an advantage.
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and collaborate with marketing and programme teams in a hybrid work setting.
• Previous experience in hosting, public speaking, retail, F&B, or other customer-facing roles is beneficial.
