- Compiling of defect image on Mask Plate and determine with printdown substrate to determine what type of defects on MASK can be translated onto defect on product after process.
- Participating in other tool matching activities.

- Requires setting up of Photomask/substrate automated scan recipes.
- Requires training in operation of some machines.
