Role Overview
Seeking an experienced Equipment Engineer to support and improve semiconductor manufacturing equipment performance and reliability. This role will focus on preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, equipment optimization, and driving continuous improvement initiatives in a high-volume manufacturing environment. The candidate will also collaborate across teams and provide technical leadership on complex engineering challenges.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance (PM) and troubleshooting of semiconductor equipment
- Ensure equipment readiness and minimize production downtime
- Drive equipment upgrades, optimization, and continuous improvement projects
- Analyze equipment performance data and technical trends
- Support safety, environmental, and operational compliance requirements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on engineering initiatives and projects
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance when required
- Work closely with suppliers and stakeholders on technical improvements
Ideal Requirements
- Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Engineering or related technical discipline
- Strong experience in semiconductor equipment engineering within manufacturing/fab environment
- Hands-on experience in equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and process support
- Ability to solve complex technical issues independently
- Experience leading improvement projects and cross-functional collaboration
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Approximately 8-10 years of relevant experience for Bachelor's degree holders, or equivalent combination of advanced degree and experience
