Roles & Responsibilities
Job Description
- System Administration of Linux/Unix environment:
- Working experience on RHEL/HP-UX/Solaris/AIX Servers
- Knowledge on Cluster management software
- Patch management and Vulenrability Management
- Troubleshooting skills in OS & Hardware related issues
- Extensive Experience in OS and Hardware/Firmware patching.
- Experience on Patch management tools like BigFix, SCCM etc.
- Perform Patch assessment and recommend/plan deployment.
- Experience on Automation of Pre and Post patching tasks.
- Hand-on knowledge on various RAID technologies (RAID 0+1, RAID 1, RAID 5 etc.)
- Knowledge on Clustering (geo cluster, multinodes passive/active)
- Bios upgrades and firmware upgrades.
- Knowledge on server management tools
- Log monitoring/maintenance
Skills Required
- 8-12 years of Experience in Linux/Unix System Administration
- The candidate should have worked in a SLA driven environment.
- Ability to work in a flexible, team-oriented and constantly changing environment
