Role: Linux System Administrator (Minimum 5 Years Experience)

Location:Singapore

Duration: 12 Months (Extendable)

✅ Key Responsibilities

• Deliver proactive system reviews, tuning & resilience improvements

• Resolve incidents and analyze problems

• Work with Engineering teams on solution design & deployment

• Define configuration standards for Linux & system software

• Provide technical support to development and operations

• Drive system troubleshooting, RCA, and recovery

• Lead outsourced technical teams

• Plan & deliver OS upgrades

• Approve/supervise major change requests

• Conduct performance analysis & tuning

• Automate system operations

• Drive patching & software upgrades

• Manage backup, recovery, and asset inventory

• Design & enforce access control frameworks

• Implement strong monitoring for service reliability

• Mentor junior engineers

• Support compliance & audit requirements

• Conduct capacity planning and performance management

✅ Functional & Technical Competencies

• Linux, Solaris, UNIX systems & services (volume manager, NTP, DNS, clustering, etc.)

• Troubleshooting & performance tuning for Linux/UNIX

• Linux server clustering implementation

• Information security knowledge

• Networking & data communication

• Middleware/app execution in Linux/UNIX (advantage)
