We are looking for a Linux + Microsoft Windows Server Administrator with hands-on experience in Linux server administration, virtualization, and server maintenance. The candidate will be responsible for installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and maintenance of Linux and Windows server environments while ensuring system availability and performance.
Key Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in Linux server administration (Red Hat Linux / SUSE Linux).
- Experience in Linux patching, server troubleshooting, and OS upgrades.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in virtualization technologies including VM cloning and snapshot management.
- Basic networking knowledge including switch configuration and server-related services such as file transfer.
- Ability to work in testing, production, and disaster recovery environments.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and administer Linux and Windows servers and related services.
- Troubleshoot and resolve Linux operating system and server-related issues.
- Prepare and maintain testing and production environments.
- Perform system testing, documentation, and deployment activities.
- Maintain system documentation and operational procedures.
- Monitor and maintain servers as per organizational standards and policies.
- Support end-users during implementation and maintenance activities.
- Participate in disaster recovery drills and recovery site activities.
- Learn and implement new tools for server administration and monitoring.
- Coordinate with project teams, support teams, and stakeholders for smooth operations.
- Provide knowledge sharing and training to junior team members when required.
- Perform additional server administration and maintenance tasks assigned by supervisors.
