We are seeking an experienced Linux / Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to join our technology team supporting enterprise systems within a secure and high-availability environment. The role will focus on administering Linux platforms, managing container orchestration, and supporting cloud and virtualization infrastructure.
Responsibilities :-
- Administer and support enterprise Linux platforms including RHEL and Oracle Linux
- Perform system hardening, security compliance, and periodic patching in line with banking and security standards
- Implement and manage container orchestration platforms using Red Hat OpenShift
- Manage high-availability and clustering solutions using Veritas InfoScale and PowerHA
- Design, deploy, and manage private and hybrid cloud infrastructure
- Work with virtualization and cloud platforms such as OpenStack, KVM, VMware, and Microsoft Azure
- Develop and maintain automation solutions using tools such as Ansible, Terraform, and Shell scripting
- Monitor system performance, conduct capacity planning, optimization, and tuning
- Provide Level 3 technical support, including incident management and root cause analysis
- Maintain system documentation, operational procedures, and runbooks
- Support scheduled weekend maintenance windows when required
Requirements :-
- Minimum 8 years of hands-on experience in Linux platform engineering
- Strong expertise in Linux OS administration (RHEL, Oracle Linux)
- Proven experience managing OpenShift clusters in production
- Solid working knowledge of Veritas InfoScale for HA configurations
- Proficiency with Ansible, Terraform, Bash/Shell scripting
- Hands-on experience with cloud technologies (OpenStack, KVM, VMware, Azure)
- Knowledge of containerization (Docker/Podman) and Kubernetes fundamentals
- Familiarity with compliance and regulatory standards in banking environments
- Exposure to DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
- Knowledge of ITIL processes
- Strong troubleshooting, documentation and stakeholder communication skills
