Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Linux Administrator with over 6 years of hands-on expertise in managing and supporting Linux systems. The ideal candidate must hold certification in Red Hat Linux, Oracle Linux, or AWS, and have strong skills in system administration, troubleshooting, and automation.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain Linux servers (Red Hat, Oracle Linux, AWS Linux).
- Perform system upgrades, patching, and performance tuning.
- Manage user accounts, access controls, and security policies.
- Monitor server health, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability.
- Support virtualization and cloud deployments (AWS preferred).
- Automate operational tasks with shell scripting or other tools.
- Implement and maintain backup, recovery, and disaster recovery processes.
- Work with cross-functional teams to support business-critical applications.
- Maintain documentation of system configurations and standard operating procedures.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 6+ years of Linux administration experience in enterprise environments.
- Certification in Red Hat Linux, Oracle Linux, or AWS (mandatory).
- Strong knowledge of Linux server administration, clustering, and storage.
- Hands-on experience with virtualization (VMware, KVM) and cloud platforms.
- Proficiency in shell scripting or automation tools (Ansible, Puppet).
- Good understanding of networking and security concepts.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
