Job Description
Responsibilities & Requirements
- Review build requirements, define provisioning dates, generate JIRA tickets, and generate hostnames using the portal.
- Submit HW Roll-in forms for rack allocation and verify hostnames, IP addresses, switch port status, and NBU connectivity.
- Coordinate with the DCFM team to resolve cabling issues.
- Build and support new servers throughout the delivery lifecycle.
- Monitor build progress, resolve technical dependencies, and ensure servers are provisioned within committed timelines.
- Coordinate with Network, Storage, and VM teams to resolve build dependencies.
- Provide regular build status reports and attend calls with GBT/GMET teams to communicate progress and clarify technical concerns.
- Conduct daily DSM calls to track build progress and fast-track OS configuration, user management, role management, and hardening.
- Support application teams with application setup requirements.
- Coordinate with application teams and GIS to resolve vulnerabilities.
- Lead GIS handover activities and coordinate GIS onboarding to meet delivery timelines.
- Provide commissioning and warranty support.
- Coordinate Network Firewall, Network DNS, and Load Balancer (LB) setup.
- Hand over the environment to the application team for deployment.
