Responsibilities
- Collaborate with set designers and producers to develop lighting design solutions for TV productions, outdoor broadcast recordings, and live telecasts
- To provide both creative and operational expertise in lighting ensuring the production meets the company's visual and aesthetics standards.
- Responsible for setting up, operating and maintaining lighting equipment and power distribution.
- Assist in planning, designing, plotting and executing lighting plans for TV productions and Live broadcasts.
Qualifications
- Diploma or NITEC in Electronics/Electrical Engineering or related.
- 3-6 years of experience in the lighting industry.
- Proficiency in lighting/AV software, AutoCAD, Vectorworks, and computer graphics rendering.
- Knowledge of and ability to program using ETC Apex console, GrandMA 2 or 3, and Avolites.
- Knowledge of electrical systems including Single Line Diagrams, load distribution and compliance with EMA/BCA regulations.
- Possess in-depth knowledge in the TV & Stage Lighting Industry.
- Knowledge of TV broadcast operations, including video, audio, lighting and electrical systems.
- Basic networking knowledge.
- CCU operation.
- Understanding of lighting truss system and safe rigging practices.
- Strong communication skills; responsible, organized, flexible, and a supportive team player.
- Willingness to work nights or weekends as required.
- Ability to work at height.
- Physically fit to work in outdoor environments.
