Job Summary
You will prepare and deliver innovative lighting design solutions by collaborating with project teams and utilizing advanced software tools to meet client specifications and project timelines.
Responsibilities
- Develop detailed lighting design drawings and plans in collaboration with project teams to achieve project objectives
- Perform precise lighting calculations to ensure designs comply with all technical requirements and specifications
- Produce high-quality renderings of lighting designs using computer software to visualize concepts effectively
- Create comprehensive lighting plots including locations, colors, dimmers, and lighting cues to guide production execution
- Coordinate project activities and follow up with stakeholders to ensure timely completion of deliverables
- Prepare compelling presentation materials, tender drawings, and mock-ups to support project proposals and client engagement
- Manage site coordination activities to ensure design implementation aligns with project plans
- Continuously update knowledge of current lighting technologies to incorporate innovative solutions into designs
- Exercise autonomy and accountability in managing lighting design projects from concept through completion
Required competencies and certifications
- Proficient in AutoCAD, DiaLux Evo, and Photoshop software to develop and present lighting designs
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in lighting design or related interior design projects
- Ability to interpret and translate design ideas into functional and aesthetic lighting concepts
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Comprehensive knowledge of all areas of interior design enabling effective work on projects of varying size and complexity
- Strong communication and presentation skills to articulate design concepts and influence project stakeholders
