LIFTING ENGINEER

Job Description

. Supervise and coordinate all lifting operations under his charge

. Compile all relevant reports and records and carry out a daily safety inspection

. Assist WSH Officer/ WSH Manager to ensure worksite compliance with Workplace Safety and

. Health regulations and statutory requirements. Competence in MS and RA.

. Enforce all safety requirements and in-house safety rules and regulations

. Conduct and coordinate Workplace Safety Inspections, Safety Trainings and Tool-box meetings

. Identify unsafe acts and conditions created or practices and ensure proper documentation are

. recorded

. Report, investigate, and implement corrective/ preventive actions resulting from the

. Identification of hazards, incidents, and work-related incidents/illnesses.

. Ensure that employees are thoroughly aware of and trained in their safety and health

. responsibilities

. Responsible for and ensure proper maintenance of HSE documentation

. Work to achieve the project safety and health targets

. Any other duties assigned.

Job Requirement

. Minimum 5 years of Engineering Experience with Degree in Civil Engineering or its equivalent

. Proactive, independent, able to work with minimum supervision and also work well in a team

. Must have a Lifting Engineer certificate from The Institute of Engineers Singapore, 5-Day Course for Appointed Person - Lifting Operations
