About the Role
The company is seeking a Lift Technician to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on elevators and escalators across Singapore. This hands-on role involves breakdown response, standby duties, inspection support, and adherence to safety and quality standards. Key Responsibilities
- Perform scheduled preventive and corrective maintenance on elevators and escalators
- Respond to breakdowns, troubleshoot, and repair equipment
- Carry out standby duties as assigned
- Adhere to safety procedures and use tools/equipment responsibly
- Assist during inspections conducted by regulatory bodies (e.g., BCA, FSB)
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation
- Support investigations into equipment incidents or damage
- Follow up on QA/QC issues and report matters to supervisors
- Perform ad hoc duties aligned with departmental goals
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of relevant experience preferred entry-level candidates with NITEC in Vertical Transportation or Mechanical Engineering are welcome
- Understanding of lift/escalator systems and safety maintenance practices
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Physically fit to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in various outdoor conditions
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated and able to work independently and in a team
