About the RoleAs an Annual Inspection Technician, you will focus on statutory and preventive inspections, performing safety tests, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with Singapore's regulations. You will work closely with a specialist inspection team in a safety-focused and supportive environment.
What You'll Be Doing
- Conduct annual statutory inspections and preventive maintenance checks on elevator and escalator systems
- Perform safety tests including load, emergency brake, and door operation, in line with MOM regulations
- Prepare, certify, and submit inspection reports and certificates to regulatory authorities
- Maintain detailed inspection records and service documentation
- Identify and report non-compliances or safety risks for follow-up corrective action
- Follow all workplace safety regulations and internal procedures strictly
- Coordinate with engineers and coordinators to schedule inspections and track corrective work
What They're Looking For
- Education: NITEC or Higher NITEC in Vertical Transportation, Mechanical, Mechatronics Engineering, or related fields
- Experience: Minimum 3 years in lift/escalator inspection, servicing, or statutory compliance work
- Physical Requirements: Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces such as lift shafts
- Key Skills & Expertise: Strong attention to detail, accurate documentation skills, proficient in statutory inspection procedures and safety testing, able to work independently and collaboratively
