Job Summary

Lifeguards will ensure the safety and well-being of students, staff, and guests by monitoring Swimming areas, responding promptly to emergencies, and maintaining professional conduct throughout their duties.

Responsibilities

• Watch the swimming areas carefully and respond quickly to emergencies to keep everyone safe.

• Speak politely with students, staff, and guests while helping maintain a safe environment.

• Arrive on time, follow safety rules, and keep a clean, professional appearance.

• Report lost items, follow the code of conduct, and avoid personal activities during duty hours.

Required competencies and certifications

• Hold a valid Bronze Medallion in Lifesaving certification throughout the contract period
• Hold valid First Aid, CPR, and AED certifications throughout the contract period
• Have at least 1 year of local lifeguard experience

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Demonstrate polite, diligent, honest, well-disciplined, trustworthy, and customer-oriented behavior
• Exhibit good interpersonal and communication skills with students, staff, and guests
