Lifeguard

Primary duties will include:

• Safety & Vigilance: Supervising pool activities diligently to prevent accidents and responding immediately to any emergencies or signs of distress.

• Professional Conduct: Maintaining a professional appearance with a clean and neat uniform at all times.

• Punctuality & Courtesy: Reporting for duty on time and interacting with pool users courteously and discreetly.

• Operational Duties:

  • Locking and unlocking pool premises according to operating hours.

  • Conducting pre-opening and closing checks of equipment and facilities (lifebuoys, first aid kits, pool tiles, etc.).

  • Making announcements regarding lightning warnings or safety rules.

• Incident Management:

  • Rendering immediate aid to casualties and reporting incidents to the Student Development Office (SDO) and the authority Security.

  • Recording all relevant events, irregularities, and incidents in the Occurrence Book.

  • Reporting all lost and found items immediately.

• Communication: Working closely with the SDO to ensure smooth operations during activities and events.

Key Requirements

• Experience: Minimum 1 year of local lifeguard working experience in Singapore. (Candidates with less than 1 year will not be considered).

• Certifications (Valid & Current):

  • Bronze Medallion in Lifesaving.

  • First Aid / CPR / AED Certification.

• Personal Traits: Honest, diligent, well-disciplined, trustworthy, and customer-oriented with good interpersonal skills.
