Lifeguard

Job Description

. Maintain constant surveillance of guests in the facility act immediately and appropriately to secure safety of guests in the events of emergency
. Provide emergency care and treatment as required till the arrival of emergency medical services
. Ensure PPE (personal protection equipment) is being used when performing First Aid on guest
. Prepare and maintain appropriate incident reports
. Present professional appearance and attitude at all times, and maintain a high standard of guest service
. Ensure that the Pool Environment is kept clean and well-maintained
. Maintain a high standard for the appearance and cleanliness of the pool, the pool deck area, and the turnstiles
. Work closely with Pools & Recreation Management team and other related departments to ensure guests requests are followed through
. Be conversant with closure operations process during inclement weather conditions
. Be conversant with all facets of the Pools & Recreation operations including fire safety and emergency related procedures
. Monitor activities in the SkyPark and report any suspicious characters, items or/and activities to the Manager
. Maintain close liaison with all other Departments to have a good understanding of other Departments operational flow, thus ensuring seamless guest experiences

Job Requirements

Education & Certification
. Basic lifesaving 1 to 3 certificate
. Bronze Medallion certificate

Experience
. Prior experience working in hotel or resort is an advantage

Other Prerequisites
. Willing to work various shifts, including mornings and afternoons, as well as on public holidays
. Ability to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations
. Skill in the application of lifeguarding surveillance and rescue techniques
