Are you an experienced Life & Health Underwriter looking to step into a broader regional role

I am currently partnering with a leading Global Life Reinsurer to find a talented Underwriter to join their dynamic team in Singapore.

This is a fantastic opportunity to move beyond day-to-day case assessments and take on a strategic role that blends technical underwriting, client engagement, and digital innovation.

What You Will Do: Instead of traditional case underwriting, you will play a key role in regional governance, partnership management, and system enhancements. Your core focus will include:

• Underwriting Governance & QA: Act as the technical escalation point for complex L&H client referrals, whilst conducting internal audits and Quality Assurance (QA) to maintain top-tier underwriting standards.
• Client Partnership & Training: Manage a dedicated portfolio of insurance clients. You will conduct client audits, lead technical training initiatives to bridge knowledge gaps, and engage closely with partners to strengthen market relationships.
• Digital Underwriting & Innovation: Play a pivotal role in the future of underwriting by supporting digital system enhancements, rule auditing for automated engines, and ensuring underwriting philosophy is seamlessly integrated into tech solutions.

What We Are Looking For:

• Solid technical background in Life & Health (Protection) underwriting.
• Prior experience or strong interest in auditing, governance, and QA.
• Exposure to digital underwriting systems and rule engines is highly advantageous.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders and deliver training effectively.
