Job Summary
We are seeking a Licensed Electrical Worker (LEW) Engineer to oversee electrical compliance and maintenance for CCTV, access control, and security systems. This role ensures all installations meet regulatory standards, supports system upgrades, and drives operational excellence for PCS projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure electrical works for security systems comply with EMA regulations and statutory requirements
- System Oversight: Manage and troubleshoot electrical components of CCTV, access control, and integrated security systems.
- Testing & Certification: Conduct electrical safety tests, oversee power shutdown servicing, and assist in compliance audits.
- Project Support: Provide technical input for security system upgrades, A&A works, and feasibility studies.
- Documentation & Reporting:
- Maintain accurate service reports and compliance records for all security system installations.
- Endorsement of single line diagrams
Skills & Experience
- Licensed Electrical Worker (LEW) certification (EMA-recognized): Candidate must minimally have the Electrical Technician License.
- Diploma/Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in electrical maintenance for CCTV, access control, and security systems.
- Strong knowledge of HT, LT, ELV systems and security technology standards.
- Excellent problem-solving and stakeholder communication skills.
