About the Role
Occidental Rock Capital Pte Ltd is a licensed fund management company in Singapore. We are seeking a full-time Legal / Marketing Director to lead our regulatory, governance, legal oversight, and marketing functions. This is an in-house position focusing on compliance, corporate governance, and marketing leadership within the financial services sector.

Key Responsibilities

Legal & Compliance (In-House)

. Oversee in-house legal and regulatory matters related to fund management and corporate operations, including cross-border matters involving China.

. Draft, review, and negotiate corporate agreements, including fund documentation, investment management contracts, and vendor agreements.

. Ensure compliance with MAS regulations (SFA, FAA, Notices, Guidelines).

. Support internal governance controls and compliance frameworks.

. This is an in-house legal role and does not require admission to the Singapore Bar.

Marketing & Communications

. Lead the development of compliant marketing materials, investor communications, and corporate presentations.

. Drive digital marketing initiatives and corporate branding.

. Ensure all marketing activities comply with MAS advertising and disclosure standards.

Corporate Governance & Advisory

. Provide regulatory and contractual guidance to senior management.

. Support board documentation such as resolutions, minutes, and policy updates.

. Assist in reviewing new products, partnerships, and corporate initiatives.

Requirements

. Minimum 10 years of experience in legal, regulatory, or compliance roles within financial services, with exposure to China-related matters.

. Strong understanding of MAS regulations and Singapore's financial industry framework.

. Experience in marketing oversight or investor communications is an advantage.

. Excellent drafting, analytical, and communication skills.

. Ability to work independently and manage multiple responsibilities effectively.
