Legal Manager

Role Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and self-driven Manager – Legal to manage and support vendor contracts, legal documentation & manage privacy related activities across global operations.

Based in Bangalore, this role will be critical in ensuring compliance, risk mitigation, privacy and operational consistency in vendor engagements across India, North America, and other jurisdictions.

As part of the centralized Finance & Compliance team, you will handle contract review, negotiations, documentation, and compliance tracking for vendors globally. You will liaise with external counsel when needed.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in law (LLB preferred) or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in contract management or legal operations, preferably in a global technology or SaaS environment.
• Strong knowledge of Indian contract law; exposure to US/Canada legal frameworks is an advantage.
• Proven experience handling vendor-side contracts across multiple jurisdictions.
• Strong drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Organized, detail-focused, and able to manage multiple contracts and stakeholders independently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and negotiate global vendor contracts, including NDAs, MSAs, SoWs, and service agreements.
• Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, privacy, and corporate governance requirements across multiple jurisdictions.
• Drive contract lifecycle management, documentation standards, risk assessment, and audit readiness.
• Partner with procurement, finance, operations, and business teams to support vendor governance and compliance.
• Support M&A due diligence, contract reviews, and compliance activities for strategic initiatives.
• Lead data privacy and protection programs, including regulatory compliance, privacy risk management, stakeholder training, and awareness.
